Rolando Greco
Rolando Grego is an hyperrealist artistst with hints of surrealism. In 1992 he joined the prestigious group "en plain air", founded by Walter Visioli in 1930. Rolando Greco is considered one of the greatest Italian hyperrealists. In his works chromatic sensitivity and lightness are combined with a sharp technique, creating a world of charm, memory and beauty. Several are the references to the beauty of the Southern Italy rich in rock spurs that Greco transforms into fairytale castles, and to the memory of childhood, exemplified by the presence of shells, marbles and stones.
