Agathos

Carlo Franzoso, "Agathos", was born in Manduria in 1967. He moved as a young man to Siena, where he graduated in Mathematics. His artistic orientation is based on the rational method, influenced by his scientific studies. In 2016 he founded the artistic current of Transgeometry, and is considered as one of the greatest exponents of Mathematical Art. His style is influenced by Cubism, Futurism, Russian Suprematism and Geometric Abstraction. Since 2011 it has been quite successful: at the "Palazzo del Louvre" in Paris (with the first series of works inspired by Mathematical Expressionism) and at the National Museum "Leonardo da Vinci" in Milan (with the preview of the collection "Universe Adimensionale", then became a continuous cycle).
