Ilaria Finetti
Ilaria Finetti was born in Siena in 1975. Her passion for illustration led her to attend the International School of Illustration in Sarmede, where she had the opportunity to refine her skills under the guidance of master Arcadio Lobato. Her artistic training led her to a pursuit that blends the poetic language of children's illustration with a more abstract and surreal code, characterized by large color fields, organic shapes, and dreamlike, floating figures that drift through the transparencies of watercolor, evoking fantastic and visionary worlds.
Her art is inspired by the world of nature, the microcosm, and biology. A recurring theme in her works is fertility, the process of creating life, and the intrinsic connection with water, the center of this mechanism.
Her works are in private collections in Italy, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
